Lalela Mswane crowned Miss South Africa 2021

 


Lalela Mswane has been crowned Miss South Africa 2021 this evening at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town.

The 24-year-old from KwaSokhulu Lalela Mswane was crowned by Miss South Afica 2020 Shudufedzo Msinga during the competition's finale at the GrandWest Casino in Cape Town.

The event was live from 17h00 on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) and streamed online for an international audience.

Miss South Africa 2021 saw this year’s top 10 finalists competing for a package of prizes and sponsorships worth over R4 million.

Miss South Africa 2021 will be receiving prizes from Sun International, House of BNG, Steve Madden, American Swiss, and many more sponsors this year. 

Lalela have in the bag  R1m in cash plus the use of a furnished luxury apartment in Central Square Sandton and a Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan for the year of her reign.

The runners-up, Moratwe Masima and Zimi Mabuzi will each take home R175 000.

All the three women will have the chance to participate to win other crowns, titles and prizes when they go to represent South Africa on the global stage at the Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Supranational pageants.
