Grade 6 teacher shot and killed by a learner

A grade 6 maths teacher was reported shot and killed by a learner at Cape Town.  

The grade 6 mathematics teacher was shot and killed in his car at the Heinz Park primary school by two unknown men.

The teacher was reported to have been teaching at the school since 2008. 

It was reported that the suspects could not be arrested because after they ran away from the Crime scene.

"The 53-year-old teacher was sitting in his car before school starts when two gunmen approached and killed him", said Western Cape department of education spokesman Bronagh Hammond.

There's no further detail regarding the incident at the moment.
