Actor SK Khoza who plays the role of Shaka Khoza on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, The Queen was recently arrested for allegedly beating up his ex-fiancee Ayanda Hlongwane.
"SK and Ayanda got into an argument last week which resulted in Khoza beating, kicking and dragging his fiancee in her Fourways home", said Sunday World.
Ayanda Hlongwane then opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm against him at the Fourways Police Station last weekend.
Sk was arrested last week, appeared in the Randburg magistrate court last Wednesday and was released on R2000 bail.
Hlongwane states that she sustained severe injuries to the head because of the assault.
It was reported that SK hit Ayanda Hlongwane when she questioned him about impregnating another woman.
SK admitted to have emotionally abused Ayabda in a statement released on his Instagram account.
He said that he realised that keeping things that breaks someone’s spirit is not always a good thing.
“Whenever I talk about what is affecting me, I would not address it in a calm manner.”
“I didn’t see that I was hurting her, and, in a way, I was being emotionally abusive towards her.”
