A Cape Town woman was recently trending for visiting a Capitec bank undressed in a video that has since gone viral.
In the 29-second video, the unidentified woman can be seen destroying furniture at the Capitec bank with nothing on her body but a pair of sandals as she goes crazy inside the bank.
The incident reportedly occurred at the banks Strand branch, but there's no word on what caused the outburst.
Capitec, has broken their silence over the video that went viral on social media and released a statement on the matter.
"We have completed the investigation into the video taken in our Strand branch that has been circulating on social media", said Capitec.
"We can confirm that the woman in the video is a client of ours who had money in her account. She did not, however, have any declined credit by Capitec. Before entering our branch, she had been escorted out of a nearby establishment by security. Footage from the centre shows her undressing before entering our branch".
